FREE LECTURE: GLAMOUR AND CHARLES JAMES

If you're in New York this weekend, consider blocking off some time this Sunday between 3:00 - 4:30pm for a special lecture on the Charles James exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Designer Zac Posen and Curator Jan Glier Reeder will be giving a talk about James's glamour, technique and  enduring impact on fashion. FREE HISTORY OF FASHION COURSE

Phoenix Art Museum is hosting a free summer fashion series for the general public that will explore the history of fashion beginning with 18th century dress through contemporary fashion. Curator of fashion design Dennita Sewell will be instructing the 8 week course beginning June 11, 2014.  This course will also be available online. See details below.
